I look forward to continuing my studies in TESL and reading my classmates' blogs as well.

One Year Later
I began this blog as a part of my participation in the ESL 502 class at Wilkes University. One year later I am adding another entry because I had to withdraw from the course in 2011 due to a broken ankle and surgery.

Hi! Welcome to my ESL blog! I am currently in a Masters of Education program for Teaching English as a Second Language. This blog is part of my coursework there.
I've been interested in teaching ESL for many years. I was a linguist in the military, attended the Defense Language Institute, and lived overseas for 10 years. While in the military I had to opportunity to tutor ESL and I loved it. Since leaving the military I have held various positions in the education field and also volunteer tutoring ESL in my spare time.
